Home Exchange in Germany

Many of us have experienced that – you would like to go on holiday, but you cannot afford it now. The accommodation at your dream German vacation destination is simply too expensive at the moment. So you have to delay your dream trip for now. Maybe next year... In the meantime you have to find a more affordable holiday alternative. Camping in a tent?

But you can still do that! Especially if you own a home in Sydney, Australia; Vancouver, Canada; Mexico; or Hawaii. These are all popular destinations among German travellers and you shouldn't have a problem visiting Berlin, Hamburg, Munich (“München”) or any other popular German destination as long as you offer your own home for exchange with German travellers. They will gladly short-term swap their property for yours. Home exchange opens the door for you in many desirable locations . Exchanging homes not only saves you money but also brings about new personal contacts and new friendships that can result in a number of future accommodation swaps. Swapping your apartment or your house with someone in your target area will let you live there like a local resident and maybe get acquainted with your swap partner's friends and/or neighbours.
