This beautiful greek revival home is right in downtown Salem, MA. It is in walking distance to many of the Salem Attractions, such as the Witch House, the Peabody Essex Museum, The Witch Museum, The Witch Dungeon. We are a three minute walk to Washington Street where there are an abundance of restaurants, and shops. Red's Sandwich Shop - a great breakfast spot where all the locals go - is a four minute walk. We are a three minute walk to the Hamilton Hall and Chestunt Street one of the most beautiful streets in the United States. The John Edwards house is decorated in beautiful mahogany furniture and oriental rugs. There are wide pine floors and fireplaces in four of the bed rooms as well as the kitchen, kitchenette and the sitting room. One bathroom has a beautiful original claw tub to relax and unwind in at the end of the day. The back door goes out to a beautiful cottage garden. There is a bed and breakfast right next door in case larger parties would like to be close to each other.
