Situated on a quiet, private, lakeside road, this lovely home with views of Moose Pond and Pleasant Mountain offers something for everyone 12 months a year. Access to the lake for swimming, boating and fishing is via a private dock. A short drive to the village of Bridgton and you will find dining; quaint shopping, a movie theater and a drive-in theater featuring first run movies. Bridgton also offers a golf course and horseback riding and trail rides are also nearby. Drive 25 minutes west and you will find yourself in North Conway, New Hampshire, home to numerous brand name outlets and discount shopping. There are numerous trails for hiking and biking and during the winter months, skiing.
In the winter, just 10-15 minutes drive from the house is Shawnee Peak at Pleasant Mountain. Shawnee Peak offers 35 trails and 4 chairlifts to provide access to a variety of trails for all skill levels. Snow making equipment provides early and late season skiing and snow boarding. Cross-country skiing and ice-skating are also quite popular. Fishing is not just for summer as Moose Pond provides a great opportunity to try your hand at ice fishing. If you like to snowmobile you can access several hundred miles of well groomed and maintained trails and maps of the trail system are readily available at the Bridgton Town Office and some local shops.
