Available around the apartment is a very large choice of restaurants, cafés and pastry houses, bakeries, shops, supermarkets, shopping centres (including the very known El Corte Inglês Shopping Gallery), 24 hour-open shops, banks, pharmacies, laundry and dry cleaning, business centers, cinemas (in Portugal movies are shown in their original language), art galleries, theatres, health clubs/fitness centres, beauty salons, rent-a-car, etc.

Also, very close to the apartment is Calouste Gulbenkian Museum and José Azeredo de Perdigão Modern Art Center, where you may attend to painting and sculpture exhibitions, dance, classic music and jazz concerts, visit the museum or simply enjoy its beautiful gardens.

Near is also the higher part of the Parque Eduardo VII Gardens with a beautifull view over the city and the river Tejo, which have two botanic gardens (one for cold and one for hot temperature plants)
