Casa Mar e Serra is a newly built in 2002, fully equipped, luxury apartment located in Alvor, a quaint fishing village in Western Algarve, close to Portimao. No detail has been forgotten when furnishing our second home which bathes in sunshine throughout the day. You can entertain yourselves on the the 54+ sq. mtr. (600+ sq. ft.) terrace with beautiful panoramic views of the sea and Monchique mountains, or inside the 108 sq. mtr. (1200 sq. ft.) apartment. There is a communial swimming pool with private poolside bar. You are a 15 minute walk from the unspoilt beaches or the town of Alvor. If you are a golfer, Alto Golf Course is only a 3 minute drive away.

PRICE NOTES: Minimum rental is 1 week. Prices include final cleaning upon departure.

CHANGEOVER DAY: Saturday, if possible.

Very Large Master Bedroom with king size bed or split into 2 twin beds), A/C - Heating unit, wardrobe, computer & printer & en-suite bathroom with Bath/Shower and bidet.
2nd Bedroom with 2 single beds (can be made into king size bed) and wardrobe.
Main Bathroom off entry with bath/shower and bidet.
Fully fitted kitchen with gas stove, electric oven, extra large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, toaster, juicer, coffee maker, iron & ironing board, granite breakfast bar and separate terrace.
Large dining room with seating for 6.
Living room with satellite TV/DVD Player, music stereo equipment with CD Player, Air conditioning/Heating and pull-out sofa (double).

ACCOMODATION NOTES: space heaters in bedrooms, air conditioning in Living/Dining rooms and also unit in Master bedroom. Upscale, contemporary furniture. All linens for bed, bath and kitchen are provided. Please bring own beach/pool towels. Very well equipped kitchen with kettle, coffee maker, toaster and basic cooking supplies/condiments included.

OUTSIDE: Very spacious balcony with gas barbeque, table & chairs and lounge chairs. Views of Monchique Mountains & sea. Smoking only outside the apartment.

PETS: No.

BEACH/TOWN: 1.5 Km to beach or town of Alvor (approx. 15 minute walk). Many restaurants within 5-10 minutes walk.

AIRPORTS: Approx. 45 minute drive from Faro Airport. Approx. 2-1/2 hour drive from Lisbon Airport.



CAR HIRE: For freedom and flexibility car hire is a tremendous benefit. If you would like to hire a car you will need a full driver’s licence held for over a year and be at least 21 years of age. The best way to hire a car is at either airport. Car parking is available in front of the apartments.

FURTHER DETAILS: The quaint fishing village of Alvor is located between two large towns: Portimao and Lagos. The village has many bars with live music and different types of restaurants and pubs. Shops of all sorts can be found throughout. Water sports are available on the beach such as sail boats, windsurfing and waterbikes.

BOOKING NOTES: A damage deposit of $200 Euros is required at the time the final deposit is made. This will be returned on departure after the keys have been returned and inspection of the apartment has been made.
