LUXURIOUS APARTMENT FOR VACATION RENTAL
'Affluent Tranquility'

General Description

Air-conditioned throughout, spacious, superbly furnished and equipped to the highest standards three room apartment with basement car park area within short walking distance from the market square - the heart of Krakow. In the center, yet with all windows overlooking a secluded private 80sq meters garden/terrace accessible through an enormous French Window. Interior architect brought unique character to all the rooms of the superb apartment.

Hall
Our hall does not fall under the category of wasted space, a linking passage between the rooms but constitutes an integral and unique part of the apartment and thus is a room in itself. On entering the apartment’s wide hall, a curved wall encouragingly sucks you into a comfortable table area designed to mark the beginning of a an ever-present sitting room.

Living room
Air-conditioned, South-facing, spacious room highlighted by strikingly large French window exposing an enormous garden/terrace blending with the sitting room and thus highlighting the presence of the ever-present space. With access to our private garden/terrace, the location of the leisure part can be shifted outdoors or indoors, according to our guests’ needs or pleasures. If you choose lazing on the garden/terrace on a hot summer day, the nearby trees housing birds you can hear at dawn will naturally subdue the blaze of scorching sun making it a pleasure to goof off in their shade. If you feel like an evening barbecue, the very same garden will be a perfect breeding ground for socializing. As for the indoors, you will be mesmerized by a combination of Spanish vanilla-colored tiles, bamboo flooring or wooden design embedded in the wall, which all give the room a feeling of overwhelming brightness with a touch of exotism - Should you want to skip an evening in the old town, open your huge double pull-out bed and specially designed lighting system will calm you down accompanying your choice of CD or DVD collections.

South-facing Kitchen
Comfort and pleasant atmosphere in one. Air-conditioned, spacious, with room for cooking and dining, with a large window overlooking our garden/terrace. Orientation of devices and all appliances was not left to coincidence but was carefully planned so that the morning breakfast does not require a lot of walking. The kitchen is visually clean as all tiny appliances are out of sight but ready for use – It’s enough to lift a sliding cover to realize that a juicer, a toaster, an electric kettle, a coffee-maker, a microwave wait to be used in comfort. Two entrances of the kitchen were designed to add more space as well as to improve communication between the large table in the sitting room for guests coming in larger groups. It is furnished and equipped to the highest standard allowing self-catering in complete comfort.

West-facing bedroom / study
Air-conditioned, with a large window overlooking a green and quiet area. Interior designer took into consideration those holidaymakers having to combine their holiday with a bit of work thus the room is divided into leisure and study sections. On entering the leisure section you will be struck by a gigantic chessboard embedded in the wooden floor and a lit up display of hand-made to order, enormous chess figures. Surrounded by comfortable armchairs, a pull-out single bed and a double pull-out sofa, the chessboard may be a perfect gathering place for friends / families.

West-facing bedroom
Air-conditioned, with a large window overlooking secluded, trees-covered area. With this view and the sound of birds singing at dawn, the waking-up time is a pleasant start. When the night comes, the lit-up bottom of the King bed visually suspends it in the air over the wooden bamboo floor and thus warmly invites you to keep floating. It offers practical solutions such as easily accessible spot lights on each side of the bed allowing for non intrusive privacy of a late night reader or a huge wardrobe. Equipped with what is practical as well as with what brings visual sensations, you make a choice of how to spend the night. Read or not to read? That is the question.

The bathroom
The underlying architect’s idea was to make the bathroom easy to keep clean and extremely comfortable. As you open the door, a strip of exotic wood embedded in bright Spanish tiles, goes forward, climbs the wall and goes back over you head making you stand in a circle of wood. This was a conscious move not only to make barefoot walking pleasant but also to enlarge the space. As always, nothing was a random choice – even the shower frame, toilet and bidet’s shapes were chosen with care - they all have no grooves for dirt accumulation! So go ahead and relax your muscles using our shower hydromassage panel and then stay in the bathroom for some time - Floor heating system has an encouraging effect.
A few features concerning your security

Although Krakow is generally considered to be a safe city, the apartment is located in particularly risk-free neighborhood. Yet, for the comfort of the guests in this luxurious apartment, we decided to do something more.

* to take care of your security we installed aluminum folding shutters – no need to spoil the view by obtrusive bars behind the window so it’s enough to click and high quality shutters go down when you wish their company.
* Although your car will be parked in the secured basement just below your floor, an alarm signal will inform you of unwelcome guests approaching your car (should this unlikely thing happen) – then, it’s enough to turn on the TV connected to the garage camera, and have a look at the area around the car.

UK Reviews
This is a spacious and attractive flat, filled with everything you could possibly need during your stay. It is perfectly situated a few minutes' walk away from the Old Town square. The flat's owner was extremely helpful - accommodating all our needs and even giving us some helpful advice on which bars and restaurants are particularly worth a visit (as well as advising us on which parts of his CD collection were worth a listen!). All this comes at a remarkably reasonable price. The perfect place to stay for any group of visitors to the beautiful city of Krakow. Nick

Review UK
We stayed in Pawel's apartment just after Christmas and for New Year. The accommodation was very spacious, clean, warm and light and was ideal with our two young children. The position of the apartment was safe and within walking distance of the old town, where we walked every day, there and back. Nearby there is a 24h shop offering all that we needed and very reasonable. We were able to enjoy the use of DVD's, CD's and good bathroom and kitchen facilities. Pawel was very helpful and helped us with transport and taxis. We loved Krakow and didn't see all that we wanted to since we ran out of time. This accommodation is one of the best we've experienced - better than most in the UK. So we'll see you again Pawel - keep us a space for next time! Kate and Wojtek, UK.

MALTA Reviews
We spent 7 nights is Krakow and it was great! Remember to visit neighboring Zakopane City if you like the snow and ski. About the apartment it is amazing.. first of all it is very cozy. It is fully heated and really equipped with all the stuff you really need. The apartment is also very secure. It is situated in a very good place.. few steps away from a 24hr grocer.. and a walking distance from the main square. But above all the owner of this worth it! apartment is Pawel. He is a very intelligent and helpful guy. I really mean it.. Cause in the last minute.. one of my friends could not find his passport and he made his best to help us which involved many phone calls, bureaucracy necessary to leave a country without a passport. If it were not Pawel.. my friend would probably have to stay in Krakow canceling his flight doing what he could to solve his problem. Trust him! Pawel speaks English.. and will give you many tips where to go and what to do.. Go for it!.. I and my friends would really like to thank you for the help you gave us.! Thanks Again.. if one day you should decide to come to Malta or better Gozo (our island) we would certainly take care of you! Consider it! Jeffrey (Malta).

Our one week stay in Krakow was a great experience. It was the first time any of us had been to Poland, so naturally when we arrived at the airport we were all wondering about what kind of challenges were ahead of us. We had booked accommodation with Pawel, who had offered to pick us up from the airport, and as soon as we stepped out of the airport he was there as promised. Once we arrived at the apartment, Pawel spent around an hour with us. He showed us around the flat and gave us some important tips about places to eat, bars, places of interest and information regarding buses/trams and taxis - thanks to Pawel’s impressive command of English, everything was very smooth and pleasant. The apartment is very sweet and as according to what is shown on the website. It is well equipped with all kitchen facilities, central heating and a washing machine, stereo. The location is good - it is situated around 15 minutes (on foot) away from the old town center, and 5 minutes away from a tram/bus stop. Once there it is very easy to orientate yourself, and if there was any problem, Pawel was always happy to help us. There is also a 24-hour grocery store two doors away from the flat which was quite convenient. The area was also very safe and we did not come across any problems. We would recommend this flat to any group/family wanting to visit Krakow as it provides a cheaper alternative as to hotels while still being in the best comfort. We would all like to thank Pawel and his wife for all their help and most of all for making us feel welcome. Regards, Alex

Canada Reviews
Hi Pawel, I just wanted to let you know how much the four of us enjoyed staying in your Krakow apartment this past September. We were thrilled to find such spacious, well-equipped accommodation located within walking distance of the town square. And you have no idea how badly we needed to use that washing machine! However, the best part was meeting you and your delightful family when we received/returned the keys. You provided so much helpful sightseeing and dining information plus, in all our time in Poland, we never met anyone else who spoke English as well as you! If I'm ever back in Krakow, there's no question that I'd book your apartment again. Regards, Elisabeth Villeneuve

Hi Pawel,We arrived home safe and sound without a hitch. It was a very successful trip all around from Poznan to Warsaw and then to Krakow. We were lucky to have one day in Berlin and a few days in England as well. All in all very enjoyable. Pawel, I would like to thank you for the use of your lovely home. You made us very welcome and helped us a lot in pointing out what to see and to look for. Your home is lovely and we felt like we were in a "home away from home"!I will send the few pictures I took of you and your family when I get them developed. I'm sure not as good as yours! Please give my best wishes to your wife and your darling little boy and of course yourself. Best regards, Pat Eveleigh

USA Reviews
Pawel and his family were extremely helpful regarding information about Krakow and the surrounding areas: from tips on the hottest nightlife spots to the right taxi to take from the airport and the train station (including telephone numbers for transportation with English speaking operators). In addition, he let us know about several current events, such as festivals and the like, in and around Krakow. The apartment itself is extremely modern; the kitchen is well-equipped and there is plenty of space for a group of people (we were four, but it is large enough for eight) to enjoy it in comfort. Another plus is its location: just twenty minutes' walk from the old city center. We fully enjoyed our stay in Krakow and plan to return sometime in the future. When we do, we will definitely be sure to contact Pawel again. Shane Lusher

Hello, Pawel. I am one of Barbara's friends who stayed in your lovely apartment last month, and I am happy to provide a review as we had a wonderful time in Krakow. For my first visit to Poland, I appreciated that the apartment was both a reasonable cab ride from the airport, and a safe and pleasant walk to Rynek Glowny as well as the train and bus stations. All four of us were comfortable in the spacious apartment (sleeping in three different rooms), and it was so nice to be able to plan our day over breakfast and coffee in our pajamas. Since the weather was so warm, we were also happy to have use of the washing machine! When taking a taxi, I would advise any future visitors who do not speak Polish to write down the address of the apartment for their driver - even if they think they are pronouncing it correctly! Renting your apartment was a relaxed and wonderful way to experience Krakow, and I thank you so much for all of your help in planning our stay.
