The house is a private home located in a traditional Mexican neighbourhood. The three story house is separated into 4 apartments. We rent the 2 apts. on the middle floor for long term rentals, rent the ground floor apt. for a short term rental and live on the top floor."WE" are a husband & wife living in PV since 1998. At the gated entrance, there is a pleasant shady tiled patio area with table, chairs, hammock and fountain for everyone´s use surrounded by tropical plants and trees. The neighbourhood is VERY friendly and safe. Most everyone on our street owns their own home. Family oriented with plenty of street parties and opportunities to meet the locals. It is a mix of residential and various businesses. There are bus services at either ends of the street. A 24 hr. taxi station is a 2 min. walk from the house. Multiple services and shops in the area such as laundry (wash, dry & fold service), 4 internets , Video/DVD rentals, Sign writers, 24 hour Pharmacy, Doctor and clinic, QuiQue´s seafood restaurant next door (VERY popular with locals), His seafood is the best i have had in PV. Several street taco stands, clothing boutiques, 4 corner stores, daycare centre, even a small tortilla factory most of this on our street. Donkeys and goats are often seen walking along the cobbled streets in this area. Lots of roosters too crowing night and day! As I said, it's a "typical" Mexican neighbourhood. This is the REAL PV. It is not a tourist area, therefore you do not pay tourist prices. A local Saturday Tianguis market is set up at the end of the street from early morning until dusk. Not a tourist market but you will be very welcome to explore their wares. It sells everything from live chickens to clothing to CD's to food, fresh fruit/vegetables, to household items. There is virtually every kind of store, shop and service within a very short walking distance from the house. Cinema Versalles on Fransisco Villa is less than a 10 min. walk. We are also very close to the two new cinemas, Cinepolis & Cinemark. We are also very close to the superstores Mega, Gigante supermarket/Plaza Caracol shopping mall and Soriana. A short 15 min. walk to the beach. 25 min. walk to the malecon. The location is Centro. We are about the same distance from Old town as we are to the Marina area and the town of Pitillal. We own the land next door, which is currently used as a double garage for our vehicles. We are planning to build a covered studio and swimming pool/patio in the future. This artistically decorated large 2 bed. 2 bath. apt. has a private patio and comes with all the comforts of home. It is my home when i am not renting it out. Cable TV, DVD, VCR, Stereo, Microwave oven, Fridge/freezer etc. Comes with all bedding, dishes, everything you will need. $80 USD/night (minimum 2 nights) or $500 USD/week. Puerto Vallarta's weather is sunny and beautiful all year long and has tourist activities everyday of the year.

During the high season from November to April, the daytime temperature ranges from 75 to 85 F (24-30 C).

During the summer months the Puerto Vallarta weather is hotter and more humid, in the high 80's and low 90's F (30-32C) with 90% humidity.

The rainy season typically starts in June and lasts until late Sept. with afternoon showers and occasional thunderstorms that tend to cool things off for the night. It remains sunny in the daytime.
