Cą Momplģn is a typical XVIII° Century Piedmont's farm house, part of a small hamlet called Mompellini, offering 2 separate self-catering accomodations:
Cą Momplin I accomodates from 2-4 people on 90 sqm. over two floors and has been freshly restructured and artfully decorated. On the ground floor the spacious living room (equipped with comfortable sleeping couch)with open fireplace adjoins a large fully furnished kitchen. The kitchen displays its original roof of red bricks and iron railings. On the first floor a large bedroom, bathroom and balcony. The house, furnished with antiques and Provencal fittings is particularly charming and provides home comfy with a hint of today's satellite TV & WIFI Internet. Cą Momplin II offers the same high standard and selected furniture and decoration on 250m2 over two floors with 2 master bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a studio (with sleeping couch) spacious enough to host 8 sleeps. The house sits on one of the few remaining inhabitated hilltops in the area. It is surrounded by vineyards and you'll enjoy seeing the crown of the Italian Alps on the horizon. You will enjoy a striking view of the Canale valley (this is the local village) in front, and the castle of Cisterna, another small medieval village, in the back. The area offers outstanding cuisine and wine. But there are other things you can do. For example you can visit the local wine makers (and taste wine), you can horseback, hike, bike, motorcycle, swim or play tennis at the private club we belong to. All these activities are paid extra and we can organize everything for you. We will charge no fees for organizing these activities. We are about 10 min. from Alba, known for its white truffle (since ancient times), the Nutella chocolate (since early on the last century), Barolo and Barbaresco wines. We are 50 min. away from Turin that, thanks to the winter Olympics, has seen an impressing face-lifting. Turin hosts the second largest Egyptian museum in the world (after the Cairo one). Turin is known for the Fiat cars, its chocolate and its witches The Mediterranean sea is about 1 hour away. So are the Alps. |
