A secluded 3 bedroom cottage, and 4 bedroom cottage (cottages are over 300' from each other and both quite private) on over 55 acres of land, with over 900´ of shoreline on a small bay within a large lake (Lake Kagawong). A place to really get away from it all, also a place to explore the magnificent beauty and character of the near north.
The property consists of open field, cedar forest, mixed forest and limestone shoreline. If you take a walk around dawn or dusk you are bound to see a deer or other animals wandering around. Enjoy the clean air/water. Star gaze at night around the fire pit and wake up in the morning to the call of a loon. There are numerous native American reserves in the area. This is a fantastic place to visit if you want to experience Canadian wilderness without being in a desolite location. There are no large cities on the island (which is accessable year round) but there are a number of small towns with 1000 people or so and Sudbury at around 100,000 is about a 2 hour drive |
