Information on Oak Bay Cottage

Located on the shore of Oak Bay in St. Stephen, New Brunswick, Canada, the cottage is situated just 10 miles from the New Brunswick/Maine border crossing and is one of 4 located in a beautiful country setting at the end of a private lane way. Because they are all nestled into the trees it allows a sense of privacy and solitude to each one.

There is a natural walkway directly from the cottage to the beach where you can walk for miles and enjoy the fabulous 26 foot tides that the Bay of Fundy has to offer. You can also dig for clams, gather up mussels, swim or fish or just spend the afternoon collecting all sorts of shells.

The beautiful resort town of St. Andrews by the Sea is just minutes away while closer by is St. Stephen with lots of quaint little shops and souvenir items. The lively tourist area offers all kinds of attractions including whale watching, antiquing, hiking, the Ganong’s chocolate museum and so much more.

There is also a boat launch available so feel free to bring your own boat, canoe or kayak.

The cottage has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, full kitchen, living/dining room with wood burning stove, loft and screened in porch where you can sit and watch the awesome sunsets.

The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and kettle. Living room has a TV/VCR unit as well as books, magazines and local tourist information. Please note that there is no TV reception, the TV is provided for the VCR only.

Linens and towels provided and will be changed once weekly.

Items you may want to bring along are beach towels and/or lawn chairs.
Campfires allowed, either in the fire pit or on the beach.
Gas BBQ and picnic table available.
Pets welcome.
