Exchange Zones

Students accommodations are located on the 2nd level of my house. There are 3 furnished bedrooms available, a living room, an equipped kitchen, new fridge and stove, a bathroom and 2 balconies. Washer and dryer may be used and are downstairs in the basement. Please note that I offer room rental (no meals) only.

Since I live on the 1st floor with my daughter (and our Shelty dog), students may come down for chatting while outings, such as skating in the winter and picnics at the beach during the summer are organized with commmunity meals every month or so, to get to know everyone better.

For the past 8 years, I have welcomed students from the following countries: Taiwan, France, Korea, Japan, Mexico, Spain, England, Brazil, China, Germany and Columbia.

We are located in the borough of Verdun (famed to be the new Plateau) in the southwest of Montreal island, in a nice residential area near the St-Laurent River park, bicycle paths, public swimming pool, tennis courts, library, Angrignon park, the shopping center and a vibrant commercial street (Wellington).

The subway (metro) is of walking distance (Monk station, 8-10 min.) on the Green line. Once on the metro, you will be downtown in 15 min. Please note that McGill University, Concordia and UQAM are there. Check out the Montreal Transit website
