The house is located in the prestigious Westwood Plateau, overlooking the snowcapped Mount Baker in Washington, USA, and the Fraser Valley. The house is very clean and well maintained with a large garden in the backyard. Very nice and quiet neighborhood, surrounded by many hiking trails and 2 golf courses.
Easy access to everywhere; only a few minute walk to 3 elementary and 1 middle schools. Bus stops in front of the house. Eight minutes by bus to Douglas College, Pinetree Secondary School, Cultural Centre, Coquitlam Town Centre with its multiple tennis and basketball courts, soccer field, Lafarge Lake, Aquatic Centre, Public Library, Community Centre and the Coquitlam Shopping Centre. All of those can also be reached by a 15-20 minute walk. Twenty minutes by bus to Coquitlam College and 30 minutes to Simon Fraser University. Coquitlam Bus Station is only 12 minutes away which connects the trip by buses/express trains to other cities of the Greater Vancouver including Downtown Vancouver.
We are a friendly and outgoing family consisting of 4 people. We have an 18 year old daughter, now in a university, and a 15 year old son, a grade 10 high school student. Both of them love sports. We do lots of picnics in summer time.
We love taking our out-of-country visitors to see many beautiful places of Vancouver.
On Sundays we attend morning mass at the church where our son is also an altar server.
