A remodeled historic house on a tree lined street in Montevideo. Just blocks from the beach and water front rambla. Feels like a spiffy version of old havana.

The house has a funky artistic feel, has a nice front protected garden patio, two wood stoves, slate flooring, a home office with wifi. One of the bedrooms has children's toy's.

Montevideo is the safest city in latin america, and has a great old europe feel to it. A wonderful laid back place to learn spanish.

We're doing a trip to the US, east coast in June, then Portland in July. We'd love to swap for all of part of the time.

In addition to the main house in Montevideo, we have a 1+ bedroom beach house in Punta del Diablo, about 3 hours up the coast. The beach house sleeps 6 as well, has ocean views and is 2 blocks from the water.
