Midtown DC apartment.
A semi-ground level apartment of a civil war era rowhouse in midtown DC. In the heart of EVERYTHING there is to see in DC. Located between historic Dupont Circle and the exciting U Street neighborhoods, with Adams Morgan an 8 minute walk and the national mall a 20 minute walk away. The apartment is a cosy one bedroom apartment (approx 800 sq. ft.) with a Queen sized bed and a stand up shower. The living room gets plenty of natural light but the bedroom does not. It is half above ground, half below. I currently pay $1,500 / month to live there. The closest metro stop is "U Street/Cardozo/African Civil War Memorial" on the Green line, a 5 minute walk. Also, the Dupont Circle metro stop is about 15 minutes away. Nearby attractions: 33 degree Freemason's Temple (1 block - 2 min) Dupont Circle (the park) (8 blocks - 15 min) Embassy Row (New Hampshire - 3 blocks, 5 min; Conneticut - 8 blocks, 15 min) White House (12 blocks - 20 min) 9:30 club (best concerts in DC) (6 blocks, 12 min) Black Cat (great indie concerts) (across the street) There is a bike rental depot near the metro stop, which makes everything just a few pedals away. DC is a very bike friendly town recently with many dedicated bike paths on the streets in my neighborhood. There are tons of amazing new restaurants and bars along 14th street and U street, and the always crazy Adams Morgan is a short stumble from my apartment. Once you are on the DC Metro, everything is just a short train ride away. Shoot me an email if you have any questions. Thanks! -Brian |
