Many single family dwellings on this tree lined extra wide street. This is not apartment land.

Manhattan, SOHO, Williamsburg, Brooklyn or LES - Nov 2011. 2 weeks and up to 3 months. Basically ASAP! Paris, South of France, or London January 2011 for any length of time.

5 minute walk to Santa Monica College and their amazing pools
10 minute walk to main street
10 minute drive to 3rd street
20 minute walk from the Santa Monica Peir
20 minute walk in the opposite direction to get to the Venice boardwalk
Whole foods, Gelsons, Trader Joes, Bank of America, Wells Fargo/Wacovia, Citibank all very close by.
A leisurely 20 minute drive on surface streets to LAX (just take Lincoln Blvd and not the 405 yuck!)
15 minute drive to either of the Getty Museums
A very short hop and a skip over to Malibu. I've got a really awesome list of places we like to go in all the beach cities to see and eat.
