We have a large house on a 2 acre lot that is very private. The house is 5,500 sq ft and has 4 bedrooms and 4 baths. The master bedroom on the main floor has a king size bed and a huge bathroom with jacuzzi tub, double sinks and separate shower. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs that each have their own bathroom. The 4th bedroom and bathroom are located in the finished basement along with a media room with large screen TV and a game room with XBox, Nintendo Wii, ping-pong table etc. It has a spacious kitchen, living room, parlor, dining room and breakfast room. There is also an office with high speed computer access and a separate exercise room containing an elliptical machine and exercise bike. The backyard is very private and secluded. It has a covered porch, gas BBQ grill, and trampoline.

The use of a car (Honda SUV) and 4 bikes can be arranged.

The town we live in is Rome, Georgia. The Rome area has a population of around 90,000 people and is home to 3 small colleges. There are 3 large rivers in Rome so it is ideal for canoeing and kayaking. There are a multitude of places for mountain biking and hiking. Restaurants and shopping are plentiful and it is a very easy town to navigate. There are several good public golf courses within 20 minutes of the house. The mall, minor league professional baseball and movie theaters are only 10 minutes away. Rome also has several regional museums and a wonderful downtown area with galleries, antique stores and restaurants. We love our town. Our neighborhood is quiet, safe and secluded with all houses being on lots from 2 to 5 acres. It is a very nice place to walk but is quite hilly for biking. It is just minutes by car from central commercial district with restaurants, shopping, etc. There are tennis courts, a public swimming pool, golf driving range and skateboard park within 3 miles of our house. Unfortunately, public transportation is not very good in the area so you will have to drive to most places. However driving in our town is easy.

It is about an hour by car to Atlanta, site of the 1996 Olympics. Atlanta has many large museums including the World of Coca-Cola, High Museum of Art, etc. There is a fantastic aquarium there and a good zoo. There are a lot of cultural events ranging from theater to the symphony. Atlanta has professional sports teams in baseball, American football, and basketball.
