Gorgeous modern home in a friendly neighborhood, on a quiet street. It is two stories and has a beautiful garden with lots of flowers, herbs, fruit and vegetables, and comfortable seating from which to enjoy it. There is also an outdoor spa (jacuzzi) from which you can enjoy the cool California evenings. A well-equipped gourmet kitchen. 3 bedrooms and an office which can also be used as a 4th bedroom, if needed. Broadband internet (also wireless), satellite TV. We have two friendly cats.

Friendly, quiet neighborhood, walking distance to Stanford University, parks, shopping, restaurants, and trains (to San Francisco and San Jose) and bus. Palo Alto has a lively downtown with many fine restaurants, movie theaters, and shopping. 15 minute drive to nearby mountains for hiking in redwoods. Music and cultural events take place at Stanford and in the surrounding cities; you can go to a free family-oriented outdoor concert every Summer evening. 45 minutes to San Francisco and beaches. 1.5 hours to Monterey (with the wonderful Monterey Aquarium - great for kids), Carmel, and the beautiful Big Sur coast. 3 hours to Yosemite National park and a little more to Lake Tahoe and Reno.
