Olympia is a quaint city surrounded by the Olympic, and the Cascade Mountain Ranges. On a clear day you can see Mt Ranier, which is about 1.5 hours drive away. Olympia is a great launch city for hiking any of the mountains (Mt Baker, Rainier, St Helens) or local parks which generally lead to the Puget Sound. The Sound is just 10 minutes away, any time of the day! Other amazing hiking trips are found on the West Coast (Shi Shi to Realto), San Juan Islands, Seattle and Portland. If you would like to kayak with Killer Whales the Puget Sound has a resident pod.
My house is a well equipt 3 Bd, 2.5 Ba in a quiet neighborhood in the small city of Olympia. I have a large garden with, azalias, berries, vegetables, and fruit trees in the backyard.
Olympia is known for it's world renoun Oyster called the Olympian. The seafood is amazing! A great place for fishermen, crabbers, and clammers.
Come for a relaxing getaway from the hectic city! The pace is a lot slower here than most places, so get ready for your blood-pressure to drop:)
