Mt. Gretna, is a unique community composed of both nature and the arts. One feels as if they have "stepped out of time" in this lovely woodland setting. Mt. Gretna comes alive in the summer months with Gretna Theatre, Gretna's classical music and Cicada music festival, swimming in Lake Conewago, enjoying ice cream cones at the outside soda fountain,and biking on the rails to trails or mountain biking on very technical terrain in the State Game Lands. Hiking and biking are enjoyed in all the seasons.The fall and spring are quieter times and are wonderful for those looking for retreat,and connection with nature.
