Lofted apartment on the 3rd floor of a 5-building complex. The building used to be an old yarn mill, so the apartment is very distinct - it has two very large arched windows with exposed brick and exposed piping with a wooden ceiling. The bedroom lofts over half of the apartment, so the living area is very open and has a skylight. There is one bathroom located upstairs, and tons of closet space throughout the apartment. There is a large leather couch that also pulls out to a queen-size bed, and a second queen size bed upstairs helps to total for 4 sleeping spaces. The kitchen has a gas stove and there is a dining area that seats 4. I have a 48-inch television with cable, DVR, DVD, and Wii hookups, and I also have wireless internet access. There is an additional television upstairs in the bedroom. live in a suburban area in central Connecticut (Manchester) located a 10 minutes' drive from Hartford city center. It is most convenient to drive in the area, however there is a bus stop right outside my building that goes all over the Hartford Area. There are many shops and malls nearby, as well as parks and walking/hiking trails. My complex includes access to a pool (seasonal) and fitness center, and many activities such as skiing or the beach are within driving distance. I am a little under a 2-hour drive from both NYC and Boston, however there is a bus service that runs from Hartford to both of these destinations that is quite convenient for day trips.
