Juneau is one of top destinations on famous Alaska Inside Passage tour. In close proximity to Glacier Bay, whale, bear and other wildlife watching, incomparable salmon/halibut fishing and the best hiking in Southeast Alaska with dozens of trailheads just minutes away.

We are retired attorney and school teacher. We have been trying to sell our Juneau home to move closer to children and grandchildren, but market conditions have not led to acceptable offers and we do love this beautiful country, so we are probably staying put. House exchange for several months a year seems like an interesting alternative. We have lived in Maine, have family in the east, and would like to try a summer there. We listed four as maximum guests, but as long as all guests are from same family/household, the number is negotiable. But absolutely no smoking in home.
