We own and operate a Bed and Breakfast located in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. We are a 1 hour drvie to downtown D.C. we sit atop a ledge that has miles of views over the potomac and shenandoah rivers as well as the mountains. you can see an example of the view and our house at www.theledgehouse.com there are tons of civil war history, rafting, kayaking, hiking etc. We are also close to the chesapeake bay. You can take the commuter train into Washington D.C. from our house. We would be willing to provide a car as well for transportation. we are looking for a house swap from 2-4 weeks in the carribbeann.
