Exchange Zones

Our vintage apartment is on the third floor of a lovely brick building in the Rogers Park neighborhood of Chicago. We have 2 bedrooms, a living room with a faux fireplace, a dining room, and a large kitchen. The main rooms have hardwood floors, high ceilings, crown moldings, and sunny windows. We have a very small deck we share with two neighbors and a number of pigeons. We have high speed internet wifi.
We are located on a busy commercial street, our home is two floors above an internet cafe. There are many restaurants from around the world within a block of our home, the bus stop and playground are also on our block. a short walk away is a large park, the beach, and shopping areas. Our neighborhood is full of families and is very diverse. Many of the residents are from Mexico and other Spanish speaking countries. It is very safe, the police station is only a block away.
We are within walking distance of 6 different bus lines, the "el" train, and the commuter train. the commuter train is a 15 minute ride to downtown and the station is near the willis tower (the old sears tower.) the express bus is about 30 minutes and it goes down the magnificent mile shopping district. the red line L is the most frequently used line, it runs almost the entire length of Chicago and it runs all night long.
Our master bedroom has a double bed, the second bedroom has a fold-out couch and there is also a fold out single bed in the living room. So it can accomodate up to five people.
We have three cats and a very small dog. If you are interested in the care of a dog for your stay, we will keep him here but if cats are enough responsibility for you, we will lend him to friends or a kennel.
