With a population of just 40,000, the city has all the modern amenities you would expect, yet is surrounded by stunning countryside, including the Ochils, Touch Hills and River Forth. It is also the site of the famous Battle of Bannockburn (William Wallace/Robert the Bruce) and the Battle of Stirling Bridge. Our city centre end-terraced house with private garden is in the Old Town conservation area of Stirling and is very centrally located: - less than 1/2 a mile from Stirling train & bus station, city centre, shops, bars & restaurants - 500 yards from Stirling Castle (Edinburgh Castle's biggest rival) - 50 yards from convenience store & excellent cafe Our home comprises: - living room with working open fire & 32" smart TV - kitchen-diner seating 6 - 1 master bedroom with double bed - 1 double room with metal action sofabed (hardly used) - large study room with hundreds of books, PC & retro games consoles - ground floor bathroom with corner bath and overhead shower - period-feature sash windows throughout and original floorboards in the entrance hall and kitchen - garden with patio area & garage for bikes - complimentary BT Infinity wifi throughout, which also works in the garden Dimensions: - Lounge: 13'1" x 14'3" - Kitchen: 10' x 13'1" - Master Bedroom: 15'3" x 9'9" - Sofabedroom: 10' x 11'9" - Study: 13'2" x 9'1" - Bathroom: 6'5" x 6'7" We do also have a small cat, who we can either leave in the house (she is not very sociable) or give to a neighbour if preferred. |
