A period Victorian cottage circa 1840 in a beautiful rural setting, but with easy access to motorways, rail and air.
Perfectly situated to visit the whole of the England, Scotland, Wales if you so wish. Our home is sympathetically restored and the decoration are all in excellent condition. We love our home and care for it very well- we would promise to do the same with your home. We have a beautiful cottage garden and vegetable patch- help yourself! Our house looks out over the village brook- World famous in past times for pike and scythe making due to its numerous mills. Our village has numerous period country pubs- a local general store and a good butchers. Supermarkets and more specific shopping is available within 6 miles. The Worcestershire country- side is wonderful for walking and cycling; we are also close to Stratford-Upon-Avon, Warwick, and Ludlow. Birmingham- for World-class culture is only a 30 minute drive away. We do have a beautiful cat called 'Barney', but he would not inhibit your stay in any way- he simply lives with our neighbours when we're not here. |
