This light and comfortable holiday apartment is situated off the centre of the old northern frontier town of Caminha. Its ideal position provides easy walking to the central square with its restaurants, cafés and shops. You are in walking distance to Caminha beach along the river or Moledo beach which is a 10 minutes drive. The apartment is situated near to the fresh food market and there is the weekly Wednesday street market. If you fancy a trip to Spain for lunch or dinner, shopping or walking, the Caminha car ferry is also very near and very popular. The River Minho estuary, river and marshes are located on the bird migration routes, there are plenty of opportunities for bird watching and location is ideal for fishing, surfing and walking.

Further still one should not miss the opportunity to visit the historic city of Porto, with its beautiful old riverside quarters and renown Port Wine lodges. Spain in on your doorsteps with great opportunities to visit Vigo, Baiona and Santiago de Compostela. |
