Our home is a single story timber house nestled in a valley surrounded by native bush. The Manukau Harbour is at the end of the street, and all of Auckland's west coast beaches are nearby. The large back deck overlooks a beautiful garden with a small creek crossed by three bridges. The house was built in 2008 and has everything you need. It is air-conditioned with a large open plan kitchen and dining area, a TV room and 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom has an ensuite and a view of the garden. Laingholm is a small suburb in the Waitakere Ranges. It is surrounded by the sea and spectacular bushwalking tracks. We are far enough from the bustle of the city to provide a peaceful getaway, but close enough to explore all the attractions of Auckland city. The nearest shopping village, with an assortment of restaurants and shops is a 6 minute drive away, you can reach larger shopping centres in 20 minutes and Auckland's CBD in 35 minutes. There is a limited bus service that stops at the end of the road. We would be prepared to swap cars.
