in medieval village in the Gran Sasso Park. Quiet with breathtaking views of the mountains. 2 1/2 hours from Rome, 30 minutes to the beach, a plethora of quaint, interesting villages. http://www.facebook.com/HolidayHouseInItaly. Property is on 3 levels with a cantina (can be used for double bedroom except it has no bathroom), in a small village of 900 nestled in the Gran Sasso mountains. View from the terrazzo is awesome...just spending 2 weeks here will be enough for a lifetime.
