Our home is located in a rural area in Co. Clare in the West of Ireland. The house is on a hill with the view of the Burren.
The house is detached with an acre of garden. The house is about 220m2. We use solar and woodstoves for heating. Places of interest nearby(within an hours drive) are the Burren, Cliffs of Moher, Ennis, Lahinch, Doolin, Bunratty Castle, Kinvarra, Galway and Limerick . There are woods nearby and we are on the Mid Clare Way(hiking). Great for cycling and mountain biking. Lots of lakes and rivers for swimming, fishing or kayaking very near. Beaches are about 30-45minutes away by car. Public pools, cinema's restaurants about 20-30min. We have a few hens and a dog but we could arrange someone to take care of these. |
