This very affordable, Australian style, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom ‘holiday home’, sleeps 6 people, (option for extra 2) and is fully equipped, and close to all amenities.
The newly renovated home boasts a fully equipped western style kitchen, spacious downstairs living and dining areas with windows opening onto the delightful, Balinese garden with its beautiful Frangipani trees and fruiting Mango, stunning swimming pool, fish pond and traditional family Temples.
I am a keen cook and the open kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, including full-sized refrigerator, 5-ring gas stove with wok ring and oven, dishes, silverware, dinnerware, pots/pans, glassware, toaster, smoothie maker, and basic food supplies. Aqua water gallon (19litres) is supplied for drinking and costs $5.00AUS to refill. I encourage you to refill your water bottles from this Aqua as I am trying to reduce the amount of disposable plastic drinking bottles that are littering Bali. (even though we are part of the 1st Bali Green recycling service for clean plastic bags, bottles, metal and glass which we pay for and are collected weekly)
There is mood lighting throughout house and garden for romantic tropical evenings and parties. Upstairs is the huge master bedroom with ensuite bathroom, air conditioning & ceiling fans with private living space and private balcony with views to the surrounding area. (Tip: The sunsets as watched from the large top balcony are simply stunning.)
The 2 other double bedrooms have very comfortable Queen-size King Koil mattresses with quality linens and mossie nets. All bedrooms have fans and are able to be individually locked, These bedrooms have traditional Balinese dors & windows and open onto the large, open plan living area with access to the 2nd bathroom and garden. There is a LCD TV, sound system and an extensive range of DVD’s for both adults and children. I am happy to organise a cot for your little one if needed.
There are 2 bathrooms & 1 traditional Balinese ‘kamar cecil’ outside which also contains a washing machine.
Behind the house are the rice paddy’s (Sawa) for an easy way to see spectacular scenery, sit and watch the rice farmers tending their fields, ducks & cows. Stroll among the rice fields to the river, and all within a 5 minute walk.
Use this wonderful home to explore the many nearby attractions, just 8 kms away from the centre of Ubud or as your home base to explore the rest of the Island of the Gods, Bali.
