Our 3-room apartment (plus kitchen and large hallway) is situated in the city center of Leipzig in the Eastern part of Germany. Our apartment has a size of 90 m², 1 bedroom with a king size bed, a living room, another room that is usually used as an office and piano room (including computer, dsl connection), which can be also used as a bedroom. We have an extra sofa that can be used as a king size bed as well as a mattress for 1 person. There is one large bathroom with bathtub and toilet plus an extra guest toilet. The kitchen has a dining table for up to 4 persons. From the kitchen you can step out on the balcony and look into the inner courtyard. The apartment is situated in an old buidling which has been completely redeveloped. Almost all buildings in Leipzig, the city of music, have been redeveloped and renovated, making this city a unique arquitectural experience full of old buildings and Art Nouveau houses and villas. The central station is only 1 km and the inner city ring 1.5 km away from the apartment. A large park and forest can also be reached within a few minutes. In the south of Leipzig you will find several lakes with beaches, sailing facilities and many kilometers of special roads for skates and bycicles. The entire city is very green and has many canals where you can rent boats. Leipzig has around 500,000 inhabitants. The nearby surroundings are mostly flat but still very beautiful, almost with a skandinavian feeling. You will reach the also very famous city of Dresden with it`s Opera and Zwinger in 45 minutes and the German capital Berlin in 1.5 hours. The city of Prague is around 2.5 to 3 hours away (by car). We have 2 cats that are very cute, sometimes they are allowed to go out to the courtyard, preferably during the day. If you like cats we will be happy to leave them with you. Otherwise we can find a friend who can take care of them. We are also willing to take care of your pets if desired. In case you are wondering who we are: Patricia (31) and a translator and Claudia (32) and a psychotherapist. As we are a couple, we also prefer couples or friends with no children.
