Beautiful, quiet and comfortable, that what describes our house best. Very close to the Alps (wonderful panoramic view from the huge garden) and close to many lakes, there are so many activities you can do here (e.g. hiking, swimming, climbing, biking, canyoning, skiing, sun bathing ...). Furthermore, metropolitan areas like Salzburg and Munich are just some minutes away. Summer or winter, spring or autumn, you will always enjoy your stay. The region we are living in ("Chiemgau") has a lot of traditions and culture, and is most likely the most beautiful area in Germany. We are a young family, having a 5-month old son now. As we know our region very well and as we are alpinists, we can give you plenty of tips what you can do when you're here. Our house is quite old, but built very well, of course renovations and modernization has been done, too. However, please don't expect everything to be perfect - our house has character and charme, but it's not an ultra modern designer building (and we don't like such buildings..). Also if you are coming with children, you will be happy as you will enjoy playing with the kids in the huge, naturally grown garden and go swimming to the wonderful clean lakes just some kilometres away. Grilling in the garden is another nice thing, or you can sit down at the covered terrace, enjoying open hearth fire. You will not disturb anyone and won't be disturbed, too, as there is much space to the next neighbours - privacy guaranteed. But by the way, our neighbours are very friendly guys ;-) We think that one good turn deserves another, and that home exchanging is perfect to do so. We are open for any time and location, we can travel nearly at any time. We prefer longer stays, 3-4 weeks is the minimum for far distance destinations. Respecting property of others and trying to treat fellow men right are basic for us, so we expect from you. We are looking forward to getting to know you!
