Our house sleeps well 4 people in 3 bedrooms but we have additional beds for another 3 persons. Nice garden with bbq, wooden terrace, sunny balcony, of course all conveniences (dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, TV, DVD, PC with internet...),
near the center, very good transport connections, all shopping facilities nearby, forest in walking distance
European capital of culture 2010, our region always offer a lot of events, concerts, expositions, a lot of things to do for kids and adults, leisure parks, Lego Discovery, zoos, Neanderthal, museums, boattrips, biking, climbing, swimming...
We live in a very green town of 170 000 inhabitants, 60 kms North of Cologne. Our region has been voted for European Capital of culture in 2010, there are really a lot of things to do and to see. If you are interested in smaller and bigger towns, biking, walking, museums, restaurants, expositions, going by boat on the Rhine or the Ruhr, lakes, theatres, concerts, leisure parks, shopping, old castles etc etc and, of course, relaxing in our garden this is the perfect place for you. We have done 22 home exchanges so far, in Europe and Germany and all our partners liked it very much.Very good public transport if you prefer to go by train. Airports with cheap flights to all European countries nearby (easyjet, ryanair, airberlin....). Nice towns and places to visit: the Ruhr area, Sauerland, Münsterland, Düsseldorf 30kms, Cologne 60 kms, Bonn 80 kms, Aix-la-Chapelle (in German: Aachen or Spanish: Aquisgran) 80 kms, the Rhine vally 100kms, Münster 80kms, Netherlands 40 kms, Belgium 80 kms, Amsterdam and Brussel 250 kms).
