Exchange Zones

Our house is a typical perigourdine property, situated in the south of the Dordogne department, called purple perigord (wine production region). The house that we are proposing for exchange has been completely renovated and consists of a large living area of 65 m2 with open kitchen, 2 or 3 bedrooms, bathroom with shower, double basin and toilet and a seperate toilet. The house has a large terrace facing south looking out over the garden and the pool. The property is made up of 3 houses sharing the garden and pool, although each having their own private terrace.
The house is situated at the edge of a small hamelet in the countryside at 3kms of the village (bar, restaurants, bakery) and at 10 km of 3 bastide villages with all commerce. To situate you on a map, we are 20 kms south east of Bergerac. This area is also called the pays des bastides, the region counting several medieval bastide villages. All tourist and historical sites of the Dordogne region are within 1 hour drive from the house (prehistoric grottes, musea, castles). The dordogne river also offers plenty of activities such as canoe, kayak, boat trips.
