The house is a recently refurbished 4 bedrooms detached house (convenient for 7 people) of about 130 m² from the 50s, with a basement, 2 levels and an attic. It is located in a quiet area of Houilles, very close to the city centre of Paris.

On the upper floor is:
- a large double bedroom
- a large office used by Isabelle, with a convertible double bed.
- a small office used by Xavier, in which a single mattress can be installed.
- a shower-room

On the first floor is:
- a fully equipped kitchen, with a 6 seats dinning table
- a dinning-living room equipped with a convertible double-bed sofa for 2 more guests
- a bathroom, with a showering bath
- a separate toilet room

In the basement is:
- a garage
- a washing machine and tumble dryer
- a large room with a shower, and 2 single beds which may be combined to give a double.

The house has its own private garden as well as private off-street parking. Wifi is avaiable.

Houilles:
Houilles is a quiet, middle-class western suburb of Paris. It offers everything you need for your daily life at walkable distances (no cars needed!).

Strategically it is a very convenient area as it is linked to the centre of Paris by two fast trains lines. The train station is about 10 minutes walk away from the house, and the trains are very frequent. It takes less than 15 minutes on the train to reach Opéra station in the centre of Paris for example.
Houilles is known for its 10 km international corrida marathon that takes place on the last Sunday of the year. In the town center (10 minutes walk away) there is a great farmers market where you will find cheese, vegetables, meat… as well as supermarkets, pharmacies, banks, bakers…

Leisure:
You will find a tennis court just opposite the house (can check about subscribtion), as well as a swimming pool 10 minutes walk away. You may also borrow some bicycles to follow the “velo route”, go around the “Tour des chateaux” or possibly ride on the forest trails close to Houilles. Horse riding is also possible in the city nearby. There is a vast network of public transport in Paris and its suburbs including Houilles, and you will find quick and easy connections to Versailles castle, Charles de Gaulle airport, Orly airports...
