Charming Norman farmhouse located at about a one hour drive from Caen and Rouen, a 1 and 1/2 hour drive from Bayeux and the d-day landing beaches. Big enclosed garden, wading pool for kids, 10 minute walk to a typical Norman town featuring brick and tudor buildings. Our house features a large fireplace (indoor bbq possible), low-beamed ceilings, dsl internet connection, tv, dvd player. A perfect place to stay for families with young children. Bikes, ping-pong table, soccer goals, small trampoline...
(We have 3 cats - 2 indoor / outdoor and 1 outdoor and 1 goat).

We are looking for a house or apartment in Chicago, Illinois for a two week stay in April 2010.

Additional information:

Our house is a typical "cozy" Norman farmhouse. It's comfortable but not enormous. We have 3 children (now in their early teens) but can easily prepare the house to accomodate younger kids.

About Home Exchange Owners :

Married couple (42 and 41) with three teen and pre-teen children : ages 16, 14 and 11. We have never exchanged before. We would be willing to try to organize a delayed exchange - during the summer 2010.
