I have a 48 square meter brand new apartment here in Oulu, in the capital of Northern Scandinavia. Oulu has about 160 000 inhabitants and it is situated by the sea.
In my apartment there are all the amenities needed and there is a little balcony as well. I have also a sauna of my own. From my apartment it takes about 25 minutes to walk to the center of Oulu - by the seaside. If you take my bike, then it takes about 10 minutes. You can also rent a car (about 300 euros per a week) and keep my place as a basis for searching around Finland. To Rovaniemi it is about 220 kms and to Sweden only one hour via highway!
