Charming villa with extremely private large backyard beautifully landscaped with flowers and palm trees and private pool (can be lit up at night). Large stone patio, two covered terraces, one with dining furniture and BBQ, other with outdoor livingroom furniture overlooking pool. Well equipped kitchen, cable, internet, DVD and library. Very safe, in gated community with security 24/7.
Very close to a selection of beaches (from lively to deserted) and minutes (walk or drive) to town. Free long distance to most of Canada and the U.S, if you bring a compatible laptop.

Language of communication: English preferably, but also adequate in French and Spanish

Additional information:

People in DR are very friendly and happy to meet you. The latin music is everywhere and it's a great chance to learn Merengue or Bachatta. Sosua is a really fun, small beach town with loads of small restaurants and bars very reasonably priced!! Many of the restaurants have tables directly on the beach or overlooking the sea (perfect for sunsets). Pace is lazy and simple and you will often see people walking down the street with freshly caught fish on a pole, or carts with ripe fruit and sugar cane. Cows, donkeys, horses, chickens and goats meander down roads - it's a very 'caribbean-type' place.
