Prague, almost untouched by WWII, a designated UNESCO cultural treasure, is indisputably one of the world´s oldest and most beautiful cities. Many architectural styles are represented - romanesque, gothic, baroque, renaissance, art nouveau, cubism …. It is magnificently located on the Moldau with splendid views from land and water. It is filled with quaint and elegant cafes, inexpensive and fine restaurants at reasonable prices, pubs, beer gardens, museums, art galleries, and sights such as the Prague Castle, Old Town, Jewish Quarter (Old Jewish cemetery, synagogues), and the Charles Bridge built in the 15th century.
While it is a great city to see by foot, there is also an excellent, user-friendly public transportation – metro, trams and buses - to take you to wherever your heart desires when your feet are tired or lazy.

About Home Exchange
Owners
: |
Both my American friend and I (a Czech citizen) were German professors at a woman’s college in Virginia. We are now retired and like to travel and see new places. We have a 6 1/2 pound Yorkie who, being a rescue, is too shy to do anything naughty, doesn’t shed and goes everywhere with us and would never be left alone in the apartment / house.
