This top-floor apartment has panoramic views over the bay to Rijeka and beyond. It catches the sun from sunrise through till late afternoon when the secluded terrace is perfect for lying out and relaxing. The location is a short drive from the heart of Lovran or walkable via the steps. All the buzz of Opatija and the riviera is close to hand, but for peace and quiet it is just as easy to head up the mountain, down the coast into Istria or even take a ferry acoss to Cres. The helpful owner speaks English and Croatian as first languages, while her mother provides on-the-spot local support.
This was a seamless, non-simultaneous exchange. I'll be doing it again.
