Our house was originally built in 1906 and is positioned in one of the older areas of Toronto. The home offers 3 floors of roomy living space, with a large fenced in garden in the backyard. It is located in a very friendly, established neighborhood with lots of mature trees and parks. We are a family of 3, have lived here for 6 years and have done some renovations, making it a very comfortable family home. Our family consists of myself, my husband who works at the University of Toronto, and our 8 year old son.
Inside the home you will find it clean and comfortable with lots of space. We have an 8 year old son so our home is family friendly. There is a new, large recreation room in the basement with lots of toys. There are 3 bedrooms, an office, and 2 and half bathrooms. The master bedroom has a king size bed with a large bay window overlooking a tree lined street, the 2nd bedroom has a double bed, and the child's room has a 3/4 sized bed (plus books and toys). There is an updated, fully equipped eat-in kitchen (Christine loves to cook) so if you choose to cook at home you will find everything you need. Beside the kitchen is a formal dining room and a lounge/living room where you can relax, read, and watch movies. The basement hosts the laundry room with clothes washer and dryer. We have a very friendly cat, who if you prefer, can lodge elsewhere during your stay.
It is a roomy 3 bedroom house, with large fenced in garden that is 8 minutes walking distance to the underground subway. Taking the subway to the downtown core takes about 25 minutes. It is situated in a great neighborhood where you can walk to all amenities. It is well equipped with all typical appliances: dishwasher, treadmill, clothes washer and dryer, bread maker, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster. Our neighbors are very friendly and would be happy to answer any questions you may have.
