We’re looking for a London house or flat, ideally within zones 1 to 4, and ideally with two bedrooms (although this isn’t an absolute necessity). We’ll be in the UK for the whole of May, and we’d like to stay in the house/flat for as much of the month as possible, although we’re pretty flexible on dates – two weeks would probably be our minimum length-of-stay, though.
Our condominium apartment is located in the heart of Toronto’s bustling Entertainment District – there are bars, restaurants, theatres and an Imax cinema right on your doorstep. The trendy Queen Street West is less than a 10-minute walk away, while Chinatown and the centre of downtown (Yonge Street – the longest street in the world!) are both just 15 minutes away. Lake Ontario is also nearby, and the iconic CN Tower is literally just down the street. There really isn’t a better location to be found, anywhere in Toronto. The fourth-floor apartment itself has two bedrooms, one of which is currently used as our baby’s nursery, but could be used as an adults’ bedroom by switching the cot for our sofabed (in addition, the cot can be converted to sleep an older child). There are two bathrooms (one of which is en-suite from the master bedroom), and a light-filled and spacious open-plan kitchen/living-room area. You would also have full, free access to the apartment block’s amenities, which include a gym, a computer room, a cinema room, a golf simulator and a rooftop penthouse suite for parties. (Should you require one, a car-parking space, within the building, is available for $175 for the month). Besides being an exciting, unique and cosmopolitan city, Toronto also makes an ideal base from which to head out and explore Canada’s spectacular great outdoors. You’re also within reaching distance of Montreal, Niagara Falls and New York. If you’re interested or have any questions, please contact |
