I am a retired English teacher and I have promised my wife a memorable alternative vacation in any of the Greek Islands. We are a quiet and cultivated couple travelling alone, since the kids are all grown up and into their own universe. We love museums, archaeology sites, quiet walks and gourmet meals with fine wines. I'm an excellent cook and a fine wine afficionato. We are very sociable and very respectful of other people's property. We have experience in house exchanges. We are flexible as far as the exchange dates go, but we would like to be in Greece the last week of September 2010 until the first two weeks of October 2010. In addition to our secondary country house we also have our main house, situated on the outskirts of Montreal and this main house could also be exchanged if you're interested, with one of our cars if you wish.
