An off grid cabin , in the forest, equipped with solar power, running water and an outhouse. Located in the mountains just outside of slocan city,and quiet as quiet can be. its a sub tropical rainforest, beautiful waterfalls, and lots of snow in the winter.The house has two 3rd story lofts with dormers(windows to see the beauty), a second and main floor. It also has a 2 story solarium attached to the main house , equipped with a wood stove to keep warm. There's a sauna, and family neighbors close by. The nearest town Slocan, is a 30 minute walk, and has one of the most beautiful lakes in all Canada, a vibrant arts scene, and a true sense of community.If you like skiing , there are many options close by.
