Very comfortable and well appointed house within minutes from downtown Ottawa, Canada's capital city. On the main level there are three bedrooms, a bathroom, a big kitchen, living room and dining room. In the finished basement, we have a very large guest room (with two queen sized beds), a tv room, full bathroom, and laundry room. Large deck off kitchen and a huge back yard that is completely fenced in. Lots of room to park in our driveway. We live in a leafy, child-friendly, quiet residential neighborhood that is within a very short walking distance of several excellent big grocery stores, public library, public transportation, and several parks. Ottawa's great museums are all within a very short driving distance: the National Art Gallery, the Museum of Civilization, the War Museum, the Museum of Nature, the Museum of Science and Technology, the Agriculture Museum. The beautiful Gatineau Hills are within a short driving distance: lakes, beaches, parks, bike trails, skiing. Big cities within driving distance: Montreal (2 hrs.), Kingston an the renowned Thousand Island region (2 hours), Toronto (4 hrs.)
