It is a two minute drive from my home.

For dining, the place for a great steak is The Keg which is three blocks away. Earls is also a well known restaurant with excellent food, wine and atmosphere.

Other attractions are Fort Edmonton for a trip into the days of the fur trade. As well as the Telus world of Science. A great place to catch the latest Imax or learn about technology and the wonders of the universe.

Another famous street is Whyte avenue or Old Strathcona where you will find local artists, unique shops and a eclectic mix of old architecture and savory authentic ethnic food.

The mountains are 4-5 hours drive from Edmonton. Banff National park and Jasper National Park offer great vista views of the mountains and exceptional skiing. There are buses that tour these areas as well.
