Our home is a family-friendly place. It's large enough to have room to spread out, but not so large that housework takes over! We have a large back yard with swings, trampoline and 65 foot zip line. We also have bikes and a kayak that we would be pleased to share. We live close to the ocean as well as the coastal mountains of BC (Whistler is approximately 2 1/2 hours away and Mount Bakes in Washington State is about 1 1/2 hours away). We live close to a recreation centre with pool and fitness centre and our local community has every amenity you could need. At the same time, Vancouver is only a 20 - 30 minute drive away (depending on where you're heading). We live 10 minutes from the ferry terminal that can take you to Vancouver Island or the Gulf Islands. The surrounding farmland and dykes also provides great cycling.

About Home Exchange Owners :

We are a family of four (kids ages 11 & 13) who enjoy outdoor activities. Bé is on faculty at UBC and Heather is a dietitian in private practice although my main focus is at home currently. We are hoping for a 4-8 week family adventure exploring a new country and just stepping back from our usual routines.
