http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/katowice_urban_area The city is located at major hubs: Warsaw - Vienna and Berlin - Cracow, and it's good place for visiting other cities as well: * Katowice (20km) * Bielsko-Biała (45km) * Beskidy mountains (50km) * Cracow (90km) * Wroclaw (200km) As for our city here is the oldest and largest Polish brewery working incessantly from 1629, which which of course can be visited (http://www.tyskiebrowarium.pl/). Besides, in the city there is also Paprocany Lake where you can swim and rent kayak or small boat. Our apartment (49m2, two bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom) is located in the center of Tychy. At a distance of 150m (Baczynskiego square) there are a few cafe places, restaurants and pubs. Within 1km frm our apartment there is a swimming pool (2Eur/h), shops and brewery mentioned before. Bus and trolley stop is 5 minutes walk. |
