Darch Perth Western Australia
Perth is well known for its sunshine, natural beauty and relaxed pace. There is so much to do here such as a Sail down the shimmering, blue Swan River or look over the city and its waterways from Kings Park. Swim, surf or just watch the sunset from Cottesloe Beach, then hit Northbridge’s cheap eateries and trendy bars. Dine out on Indian Ocean seafood and explore Australia’s best-preserved 19th century streetscapes in colourful Fremantle. Dedicate a day to discovering Rottnest Island by bike, boat or foot, no cars are allowed on the island. Swim and surf from perfect white beaches, snorkel with tropical fish and coral and get up close to diverse wildlife.
Perth’s coastline is known as the Sunset Coast & it’s a truly beautiful place to sit & watch the sun go down. Many of the local beaches have grassed areas with free use of barbeques (the gas is often free too) you simply need to take a lemon & silver foil to clean them off (or be like the Aussies & use your beer if it’s gone warm).
The nearest beach is called Hillarys Boat Harbour (Sorrento Quay Boardwalk) it has a water park along with a mixed use complex of Restaurants, Shops, Gift Stores & Pub as well as boat moorings. Or there is Snorkelling at Trigg Beach or Marmion Marine Park
Perth charter yachts, Perth fishing charters and Perth dive boats depart from the Hillary Boat Harbour.
Boats from Hillarys Boat Harbour will take you to the unspoilt Rottnest Island, home to the Quokka, where there are 63 beaches, 20 bays and no cars to spoil the tranquillity.
LOCATION:
Darch is a delightful new sub-division in Perths northern suburbs close to Madeley & Landsdown & is fantastically located, generally no more than 20 Ks (12 Miles) or 20 to 30 minutes drive (depending on time of day), from many of Perths favourite attractions. As I mentioned there are many so many it would take too long to list them all but worth a mention are:-
Joondalup Resort: The World renowned Joondalup Resort is 10 Ks (6 miles) & has been voted 'Australia's No.1 Resort Golf Course' 2003/04, 2005/06 and again in 2007/08 it was designed by the internationally renowned Robert Trent Jones Jr.
Historic Midland originally an early settlement
The Swan Valley & its many Wineries. There are also boat tours of the Swan River which stop of for lunch at the wineries.
Alkimos Wreck
Yanchep National Park
Margaret River which was originally a chilled out surfie town, but has evolved into the ultimate smorgasbord of fine wine, good food and spectacular scenery – just a 3 hour drive south. No trip to Western Australia is complete without a pit stop at Margaret River. And you can't beat this - there are even chocolate, fudge and ice-cream factories with free tastings. Teamed with a thriving arts scene - there's just about an art or craft gallery on every corner - it's the perfect place to soak up some West Australian culture and pick up a souvenir or two
